Refund Policy

How refunds are handled for NorthNest Holidays bookings and related payments.

How refunds work

Refunds depend on the confirmed booking or quotation, the timing of the request, and the terms of the hotels, airlines, transport providers, activity operators and other suppliers involved.

If your quotation or booking confirmation sets out specific refund terms, those written terms govern that booking.

How to request a refund

Please send cancellation and refund requests to NorthNest Holidays through WhatsApp, email, phone or our Contact page. We can then check the booking, speak with the relevant suppliers, and tell you what can be recovered.

A request is treated as received when it reaches us in writing during our working hours, or on the next working day if it arrives later.

What can affect the refund amount

The amount that can be refunded, if any, may depend on:

  • The hotel, airline, transport, activity or destination-partner terms that apply to your booking.
  • Whether a component was already purchased on a non-refundable basis.
  • How close the cancellation is to the travel date.
  • Whether a supplier has already charged, withheld or processed a cancellation fee.
  • Airline fares, taxes and third-party charges, which follow the applicable supplier rules.

We do not apply a single refund percentage across all bookings, because supplier rules differ.

Non-refundable components

Some hotel rates, airfares, transfers, activities or packages are non-refundable once purchased. If a supplier does not refund a component, NorthNest cannot refund that amount either.

Unused services after a journey has begun are generally not refundable, unless the quotation, booking confirmation or supplier terms say otherwise.

Processing time

Refunds often have to be received from the relevant supplier before they can be returned to you. Processing time therefore varies and is not guaranteed.

If NorthNest has not received a refundable amount from a supplier, we cannot promise an immediate refund of that amount.

How refunds are returned

Where a refund is due, it is returned through the original or another approved payment route for that booking, as applicable.

Bank, UPI or other payment-provider charges, if any, are handled according to the actual transaction and the provider’s terms. We do not add a standard refund fee on this website.

Relationship with cancellations

A cancellation does not automatically mean a full refund. Please read this policy together with our Cancellation Policy. Booking-specific written terms prevail where they have been clearly communicated to you.
